By a majority of votes, the Trial Chamber decided to order the Registrar to submit by Monday, 21 November 2005, the expert medical reports by the two Dutch doctors treating Slobodan Milosevic: cardiologist Dr. Van Dijkman and an unidentified Ear Nose and Throat specialist.

The Dutch specialists are asked to give their views on the contents and recommendations in the report filed by the Russian, French and Serbian doctors who examined Milosevic on 4 November, concluding that his health "has not been stabilized" and recommending "the suspension of all physical and mental activities in the period of at least six weeks". The Chamber wants in particular that the Dutch specialists give their views on the conclusion reached by Dr. Shumilin, Russian vascular specialist, about "inadequate treatment and the necessity of additional tests" and the recommendation that the accused be given six weeks to rest.

Judges Robinson and Kwon voted in favor of ordering the Registrar to take necessary steps for the Dutch specialists to submit their report. Judge Bonomy was against such an order. During the brief hearing yesterday he expressed his personal opinion that the accused had to file a formal written motion to the Chamber, if he wanted to ask for a six-week break on the basis of the findings and recommendations of the Russian, French and Serbian doctors.
