Prosecution and defense were given until tomorrow to clarify the 'confusing' parts of the Dragan Zelenovic’s plea agreement. Under the agreement, Zelenovic pleads guilty to the rape and torture of two Bosniak women in Foca in 1992 and to complicity and aiding and abetting the rape of a number of other women

The accused pleads guilty to seven counts in the indictment. The rapes and torture of Foca girls are qualified as crimes against humanity in those counts. The prosecution agrees to drop the remaining seven counts in which the same acts are qualified as violations of laws and customs of war. The prosecution recommends 10 to 15 years in prison, and the defense calls for 7 to 10 years. This is the twentieth guilty plea before the ICTY

Dragan Zelenovic’s sentencing hearing is scheduled on 23 February. Zelenovic is charged with multiple rape and torture of Bosniak girls in Foca. The prosecution has recommended a sentence of 10 to 15 years in prison, while the defense counsel calls for 7 to 10 years
