The time and venue of Radovan Stankovic Rasa’s trial will depend on the decision of a special Trial Chamber whose job it is to deal with requests for the deferral of cases to domestic courts in the former Yugoslavia.

Since the accused stated that “the indictment is not completely clear” to him and he did not have the opportunity to consult his appointed counsel, the judge scheduled his further appearance in 30 days

At his further appearance before a Tribunal judge, Gojko Jankovic pleaded not guilty on all 14 counts of the indictment charging him with rape and torture of Bosniak girls and women in Foca 1992

The appeal the accused filed against the decision to refer his case to the courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina was dismissed. Stankovic will have to be in Sarajevo within 30 days

Radovan Stankovic’s last motion to be allowed to return to The Hague ‘for a re-trial and for the truth to be established’ has been dismissed. The BH State Court sentenced Stankovic to 20 years for rapes of Muslim girls and women
